So, it has come to my attention via both the News and the NWPR.org site, that a major security flaw has finally been caught. While it was reported around 2 years ago, it seems that it was finally announced to the public yesterday. This bug has been appropriately named the "Heartbleed Bug" due to the live connection between your computer and the server you are connecting to called a "Heartbeat" as it is a pulse that checks for a live connection. Many sites that use OpenSSL are at risk, and I am sure that there are MANY more attacks daily that are causing pain for users out there.

Be sure to check and DOUBLE check the sites you visit, as well as CHANGE your passwords if said site uses OpenSSL as their server software. I've done my checking for all sites I am on and doing immediate changes to my passwords. I do hope that the DA staff know of this bug and are taking the proper steps to counter it if they are at risk.

Again, PLEASE check and DOUBLE check all sites you plan on visiting. If they use OpenSSL and haven't renewed their certificates within the last 3-4 months, be extremely careful as they might be at risk. Below I have linked the site checkers and an app that checks for Heartbleeds on Andriod devices.
